About Us

Our story

The Mobile Vet Nurse Ltd was started in 2010 to provide in-home veterinary nursing and preventative health care for companion pets. Owner and qualified veterinary nurse, Chrissy MacPherson, wanted to give pets and their owners calm, stress-free experiences.

Our services are carried out in the comfort of your own home, which puts your pet at ease during wellness treatments, check-ups and pampering sessions. Your pet's comfort is our biggest concern, meaning less stress for you and your pet!

We operate in the Greater Christchurch and North Canterbury areas (including Lincoln, Rolleston, Kaiapoi, Loburn, Rangiora and Oxford).

Chrissy is AMAZING! I have one dog scared of the vets and one staffy cross who hates his feet being touched and has pain issues with hip dysplasia. Today was nail cutting day and honestly without her expertise and perseverance Otto would have to have gone to the vet to have full sedation to have his nails done. She is calm, reassuring and professional at all times. Pip our older vet phobic dog had nails done for 2nd time and today was barely a challenge, 75% better than last time. See you in 6-weeks!
